Frequently Asked Questions

  • Located at the Sapphire Beach Marina.  Adventure Awaits is kept in this Marina.

  • The Virgin Islands gets rain in one area or another almost every day, but they are usually short and spotty.

     

    *Your Land Tour Guide will do their best to avoid these areas and have a safe and fun excursion. *Your Boat Captain will do their best to avoid rain clouds, but if there are dangerously high waves or strong winds your trip may be cancelled. If this happens you will have the choice of a refund or an option to reschedule.

  • We understand that plans can change. Here is our cancellation policy:

    • Cancellations made more than 14 days before your scheduled charter: Full refund.

    • Cancellations made between 7-14 days before your scheduled charter: 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before your scheduled charter: No refund.

  • At a minimum make sure to be there 15 minutes early. We advise that you try and make it 30 minutes early. You don't want to miss departure time.

  • Meet at the Sapphire Beach Marina office.  Call us once you arrive at the Marina  on 340.203.9464, and a crew member will show you to Slip S-19.

  • The itinerary depends on the number of stops and the distance to each POI of the island you want to visit as well as the length of time you would like to spend at each location. We do our best to accommodate what you want to do or where you want to go. A member of our team will reach out to you to discuss your desired destinations. On the day of your charter the captain or tour guide will determine if your itinerary coincides with that days weather and/or sea state.

  • Yes, it is customary t​o tip 18-20% to your Crew for an excellent day.

  • The step down from the dock is dependent on the tide. At times its a small step down, at other times it can be a long step down where sitting on the dock to step onto the boat may be best.

     

    The boat has narrow steps that go up to the main seating area and more steps to get to the top of the boat. There are steps down to the galley, then again, more steps down to the forward state room where the guest bathroom is located.

    There is a ladder to enter and exit the water.

    This is a boat, which means the deck can get slippery as well as rock unexpectedly. It is advised that you always have 3 points of contact to the boat.

  • We do not currently offer day trips to the BVI. 

  • Fuel is included in the price of our boat trips and tours.

  • We base the child ticket on the life jacket regulations. Children 12 and under must wear a life jacket while underway.
